In the last years in polish tribunals many disputes relating to reproduction of the border lines of parcels as well as the mode implementing of their was decided. In the majority of cases this disputes were concerned to the grounds which was taking over by state in the post-war period. The photogrammetry accomplish important field in this range. On the basis of archival photogrammetric data, in the peculiarity photo mosaics as well as aerial photos the stereoscopic measurements were realized. On the basis of these measurements the position of points and border lines was reproduced and also stereoscopic interpretation of land use was performed. For optimal utilization, these data was referred to the geodetic coordinate system. In dependence of accuracy requirements of absolute orientation of aerial photos, the control points measured on the terrain as well as on the topographic maps and orthophotomaps were needed. However, reproducing of terrain control points in the direct method in many cases wasn’t impossible in the face of the considerable outflow of time from the acquisition date of aerial photos. The methodology of the processing of archival photogrammetric image data using of available national geoinformation supplies was presented in the article. This supply is stored in national internet data basis as well as in the Main Geodetic Cartographic Documentation Centre, Central Military Archive and State Archive of the Capital City of Warsaw. The internal archive of the Photogrammetry Department of the Institute of Geodesy and Cartography which is arranged within the "OGNIWO" project was used also. The method of sequential measuring of the control points for aerial photos describing different from the real state situation of terrain was introduced in the present article. On the basis of remembered methodology the results of processing of archival aerial photos in the context of registry measurements as well as interpretation results were presented. The article was prepared on the basis of experiences acquired during realization of technical evaluations and opinions.
