FOR AUTHORS

  • SUBMISSION
    All participants of the workshop are invited to prepare at least one conference paper submitted to be considered by scientific committee for publication during workshop in oral or eventual poster session (depending on number of submissions). Submitted abstract of 1000 words should also content title, authors, their affiliation and e-mail address. Tables, figures are welcome. Here you can find a template for abstract:
    ( link) Such submission is also expected for those who want to present benchmark proposal during workshop. Attendees of summer school can also prepare their submission but it is optional. Their participation in workshop is guaranteed even without publication. Such submission is recommended anyway.

    Abstract submission and final paper (ISPRS Archives template ( link) should be sent to workshop.gik@pw.edu.pl with title ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
  • PUBLICATIONS

    ISPRS Archives of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Systems

    All of abstracts submitted for Workshop will be reviewed and published in ISPRS Archives. Conference abstracts from Archives are published in Web of Science, SCOPUS, the E/I Compendex, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). All of information about ISPRS Archives can be found here.

    The papers must be prepared according to the ISPRS guidelines (link). Paper reviews will be conducted according to the ISPRS reviewing process (details).
  • BENCHMARK PROPOSAL Benchmarks is popular form for evaluation of selected item or issue as well as can be a tool for comparison of different type of sensors or systems to best practices from a market. We provide attendees of workshop to propose benchmarks to be released by ISPRS WG I/10. Such method of receiving results is very independent because the main rule for benchmark is to carried out experiment by various scientific research teams sometimes using different methods.

    Benchmarks proposals should be in accordance with scope of workshop and summer school. They will be presented and discussed in special dedicated sessions during workshop. The results of accepted and released benchmarks, after evaluation of their results sent from interested scientists, will be presented as publication in world-wide, scientific journals in co-authorship of all participating authors in future.

    Proposal of benchmark must be described and submitted as conference paper in ISPRS Archive form and it should contain:
    - what is the evaluation of a given sensor / system by many users or a comparison of several sensors / systems;
    - Description of the method that guarantees the comparability of the results obtained for different sensors / specimens of a given sensor / system;
    - Test object and sensor description that guarantees objectivity of results obtained in similar conditions / experiment setup;
    - The results of author's experiment over proposed sample from sensor / system;
    - Specifications describing transfer possibility of unified results;
    - Proposal of method for evaluation/ comparison the results submitted by potential; benchmark participants,
    - Scientific references (literature).
