About Archives

The Archives of Photogrammetry, Cartography and Remote Sensing (APCRS) has the rich tradition and it is published since 1994. It was established by few scientific organizations: Polish Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Polish Academy of Sciences – Section of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing as well as Section of Cartography, Association of Polish Cartographers and Polish Geographical Society – Section of Remote Sensing.

The scope and essence of our magazine is related to photogrammetry, cartography, remote sensing, GIS – broadly-understood as geomatics. The publisher of APCRS is the Main Board of Association of Polish Surveyors. Starting from 2014 (vol. 26) APCRS is published as biennial indexed in Google Scholar as well as Index Copernicus and BazTech databases. Each paper in APCRS is double-blind reviewed. The quality of APCRS content is ensured by thematic, linguistic and statistical editors. For last 5 years in APCRS over 250 scientific papers have been published and 40 of them are in English. All papers included in our Archive include extended abstract in English. The magazine is a leading and most cited Polish magazine related to photogrammetry, cartography and remote sensing.

The primary version of the journal is the paper edition.
