XXIV Polish National Scientific Symposium – Kielce, 23-25. September 2026

ABOUT SYMPOSIUM REGISTRATION PROGRAMME ABSTRACTS

The XXIV Polish National Scientific Symposium “Photogrammetry, remote sensing and geoinformation in digital reality modelling” will be held on September 23-25, 2026 in Kielce.

About Symposium

The 24th National Scientific Symposium will focus on current issues in the fields of photogrammetry, remote sensing and geoinformation, with particular emphasis on modern methods and technologies for digital spatial modelling. The Symposium will focus on issues related to the dynamic development of measurement technologies, remote sensing sensors and geoinformatics, which together shape the contemporary approach to the digital description and interpretation of reality.

The topics will cover both theoretical aspects and practical applications of terrestrial, aerial and satellite photogrammetry, laser scanning (LiDAR), multi- and hyperspectral imagery, and data acquired from unmanned aerial vehicles. Significant attention will be given to methods for integrating diverse data sources, automating processing workflows, utilising artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, as well as issues of quality, accuracy and reliability of digital models.

The symposium will also focus on the applications of geoinformation in areas such as spatial planning, environmental monitoring, property management, civil engineering, crisis management, cultural heritage protection and the development of smart city concepts. Particular emphasis will be placed on 3D and 4D modelling, digital twins, and the updating and visualisation of spatial data in near real time.

As a recurring event, the symposium provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience between representatives of the academic community, public administration and practitioners involved in the acquisition, processing and analysis of spatial data, as well as a space for discussion on the future directions of geoinformation technologies and their role in building a digital reality.
