Abstract:

The session will provide an overview of the practical applications of embeddings in analysis and research experiments. Topics to be discussed include the creation of custom search systems, the use of few-shot models, automatic classification, and unsupervised discovery of structures in data. Participants will learn methods for the effective use of available embedding models and how to adapt them to work with image, text, audio and spatial data — without having to start the whole process from scratch.

About Author:

For the past 8 years, he has been involved in the analysis and modelling of multimodal data (text, images, time series, tabular data) at the intersection of R&D and implementation, as co-founder and technical lead of Numlabs sp. z o.o. He has experience in R&D projects and consultancy in the areas of data warehousing, BI, machine learning and business process automation; he has been associated with the Szczecin Maritime University for the past four years and is a graduate of automation and robotics from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology.
